Coronavirus: Tambuwal imposes curfew Sokoto seeks Buhari’s intervention

Governor Tambuwal has called for President Buhari’s support in fighting COVID-19 spread in Sokoto state – The Sokoto state governor also a curfew from 8pm to 6am daily in the state, starting from Monday, May 4 – According to NCDC, Sokoto has 66 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths.

Governor Aminu Tambuwal has urged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 to support Sokoto state in fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The Nation reports that the Sokoto state governor called for urgent intervention in the areas of logistics and technical support to contain COVID-19 spread in the state.
