
The second day of the Digital Nigeria International Conference and Exhibitions (DNICE 2025) featured extensive deliberations focused on strengthening collaboration and advancing innovation within Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.
Representing the Sokoto state, the Honourable Commissioner for Innovation and Digital Economy, Hon. Bashar Umar Kwabo, joined other ICT leaders, policymakers, and development partners in discussions centered on accelerating digital transformation, promoting inclusion, and sustaining growth through technology and innovation.
The sessions highlighted the need for stronger coordination between federal and state governments to ensure effective implementation of digital policies and infrastructure projects. Stakeholders also highlighted the importance of human capital development, data governance, and digital entrepreneurship as key pillars for a sustainable and competitive digital economy.
Organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, the event continued to serve as a national platform for policy dialogue, knowledge sharing, and innovation showcase.
The day concluded with renewed commitments from participants to strengthen collaboration and leverage technology as a driver of national transformation and sustainable development.
