The Sokoto State Government (SOSG), through the Recruitment Committee, has announced the extension of the deadline for the ongoing state recruitment exercise to enable more qualified indigenes to apply.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Recruitment Committee, Barr. Gandi Umar Muhammad, mni, the closing date for the recruitment portal has been extended from October 6th to October 12th, 2025.
The committee urged eligible Sokoto State indigenes who are yet to apply to take advantage of the extension and submit their applications through the official portal: https://employment.sokotostate.gov.ng. It emphasized that only applications submitted through the portal will be considered.
The committee reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process aimed at promoting competence, integrity and reducing youth restiveness and unemployment, in line with the vision of the Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto’s led administration for a more prosperous Sokoto State.
