The Sokoto State Government (SOSG) has approved the construction of a new office complex for the Ministry of Justice as part of efforts to enhance institutional capacity and improve the work environment for legal officers and administrative staff.
The approval was granted at the fifth State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House Council Chamber, and was disclosed to journalists by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Sambo Bello Danchadi.
According to the Commissioner, the new complex will address the longstanding issue of space constraints within the Ministry, which has been operating from a shared government facility.
He explained that the project is in line with Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto’s commitment to strengthening the justice sector and supporting public institutions with the infrastructure needed to perform effectively.
The office complex, when completed, is expected to offer a more suitable and professional environment for the delivery of legal and administrative services.
