Governor Aliyu Appoints LG Coordinators, Committee for Subsidized Fertilizer Sales in Sokoto

The Sokoto State Governor, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, has approved the appointment of Local Government Coordinators and Committee members to supervise the sales and distribution of subsidized fertilizers for the 2025 wet season farming. The appointees are as follows:

Appointed LG Coordinators:

According the to the DG Media & Publicity Government House, Abubakar Bawa, the terms of reference are as follows:

  1. To Coordinate the sales of fertilizer in the 23 local Government Areas
  2. To ensure that each of the 244 wards gets the approved quantity of fertilizer allocated to it by the state government
  3. To ensure that only the approved quantity of fertilizer is sold to prospective buyers
  4. To ensure that the commodity is sold transparently and at the approved rate.
