Sokoto Governor Appoints Chairman Pilgrims Board
Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has named Aliyu Musa Gusau as the Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Board. The appointee is an experienced figurehead, with decades of expertise in the aviation, travels and tourism industry. He has international exposure and connections on Umrah and Hajj operations.
The appointment was announced by the Governor’s Press Secretary, Abubakar Bawa, who says “the appointment takes immediate effect”.
