The Sokoto State Government, through the Office of the Head of Service, has announced posting of 54 Directors and Deputies to various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) within the state civil service.

Among those posted, four have been assigned to the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy (MIDE). They are Dr. Anas Tukur Balarebe (Director of Cyber Security and IT Infrastructure), Sulaiman Almustapha (Director of E-Government and Regulatory Services), Dr. Abdul’aziz Shehu (Director of Digital Economy, Literacy, Capacity Building, and Innovation) and Murtala Nuhu (Director of ICT).

This restructuring of key leadership positions aligns with the state government’s efforts to enhance governance and ensure the efficient delivery of services to the public.

Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, PhD, FCNA, FNCS, has demonstrated a strong commitment and political will to strengthening the civil service, enhancing MDAs’ efficiency, and promoting a sustainable, technology driven administration.

The information was disclosed in a posting notice, which was signed by Abubakar M. Bello, Director of Administration, of behalf of the Head of Civil Service. According to him, the posting takes “immediate effect”.
