MIDE Commences Second Batch of Digital Skills Training

The Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy Sokoto (MIDE) has continued its digital training program for 1,000 participants across the state with the launch of the second batch, which includes 50 youths. The phase will cover key areas such as computer digital literacy, video editing, graphic design, social media marketing, and AI for productivity.

Participants were selected from various local governments within the state. The initiative has generated significant interest, with over 4,500 applicants competing for the 1,000 available spots.

This ongoing pilot program, conducted is part of the state government’s broader effort to enhance digital literacy throughout Sokoto State. Under the administration of Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, the program aimed at equiping participants with essential digital skills to promote self-sustainability and drive economic development within the community.
