The Governor of Sokoto State, Dr Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, PhD FCNA, FNCS has sworn in seven Commissioners, eight Special Advisers, and nine Permanent Secretaries.

Speaking at the event, the Governor Aliyu emphasized that the appointments were based on merit and competence. He urged the appointees to apply their expertise to enhance the performance of their Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). He also stressed the importance of transparency, accountability, and efficient resource management, encouraging collaboration with staff to achieve the administration’s goals.

The Governor further expressed his gratitude to the people of Sokoto for their continued support and assured them that his administration remains dedicated to driving progress and delivering more benefits to the state.

The event was attended by Eng. Idris Muhammad Gobir (Deputy Governor), Rt. Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga (Speaker, Sokoto State House of Assembly), Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru, Galadiman Gari (Representative of the Sultan of Sokoto), Alhaji Bello Sifawa (Secretary to the State Government), Alhaji Aminu Dikko (Chief of Staff), Alhaji Suleiman S. Fulani (Head of Service), and members of the State Executive Council.
