TAMBUWAL APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF SERVICE
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has appointed also sworn-in Abubakar Muhammad as the new Head of Civil Service in the State.
The ceremony was held at the Council Chamber, Government House, Sokoto State under the leadership of Governor Tambuwal. Also present were the State Deputy Governor, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan Iya, Secretary to the State Government, Muhammad Mainasara Ahmad mni and other members of the State Executive Council.
Until his appointment, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad, whom also serve as the traditional title holder of ‘Ciroman Wazirin Sokoto’ was the Permanent Sectetary, Ministry of Agriculture.
The new Head of Service succeeds his name-sake Abubakar Muhammad mni who retired from the service earlier.
