Sokoto Boosts Telemedicine, Medical Innovation

As part of the ongoing Sokoto Digital Tour, the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy (MIDE) conducted an inspection visit to Clodocs, a telemedicine private company offering services such as virtual consultations, drugs ordering and delivery, lab and diagnostics requests, medical tourism, and medical outreach programs.

The ministry’s team, led by Honorable Commissioner Bashar Umar Kwabo accompanied by the Management team and the ICT Directorate, engaged in fruitful discussions with the Clodocs team. Mr Kwabo congratulated the founder, Hassan Tela, for his formidable initiative as a youth.

The Commissioner added, “If Sokoto youth emulate the likes of Hassan Tela, the State will experience accelerated growth in terms of self sufficiency and job creation.”

Furthermore, he encouraged the youth across the State to be entrepreneurial like Clodocs, Dan Anini Digital Solutions, Design Edge Associates, etc., and compete favorably in the global market.

The Clodocs founder extended appreciation for the visit and presented the Hon. Bashar with an award of appreciation. They also pledged to collaborate more with the ministry to enhance healthcare delivery through emerging technologies.
