Sokoto Digital Tour: MIDE Inspects Design Edge Academy
The Sokoto State Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy (MIDE) conducted an inspection visit to Design Edge Associates Ltd, an architectural firm that specialized on construction, renovation, and interior design in Sokoto State.
During the inspection, the MIDE team, led by Honorable Commissioner Bashar Umar Kwabo and alongside the Permanent Secretary Dr. Nasir Daniya, represented by Acting Director-General of the ICT Directorate, Murtala Yusuf, also visited Design Edge Academy, a subsidiary providing training on computing, engineering and digital skills acquisition.
The Firm and the Academy were the first point of call on the ministry’s digital tour. In 2023, the firm paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry, the agencies mulled collaboration on capacity building and integration of emerging technologies.
The founder of the Design Edge Associates Eng. Sulaiman Atiku Tambuwal appreciated the MIDE’s efforts and expressed readiness for partnership.
In his closing remarks, Honorable Kwabo commended Design Edge leadership for their efforts and acknowledged the positive impact of their accomplishments. He assured the firm that the ministry would work closely with them to poster more digital skills acquisition programs in the State.
