Governor Aliyu Appoints 7 Additional Special Advisers
Sokoto State Governor, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, PhD, FCNA, has approved the appointment of 7 Special Advisers. Top of which is the former Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly (SOHA), Rt. Hon. Lawali Labbo Margai, whom served as the two-term Speaker between 1999 to 2007.
The full list of the appointees is as follows:
- Rt. Hon. Lawali Labbo Margai
- Dr. Muh’d Bashir Achida
- Engr. Kabir Moyi Tambuwal
- Haruna Sarkin Gobir Adiya
- Sada Ibrahim Durbawa
- Abubakar Moh’d Salame
- Sani Musa Tureta
According to the Governor’s Press Secretary, Abubakar Bawa, the appointments take immediate effect.
