Sokoto State government has handed over the certificate of occupancy of 27 hectares of land for the establishment of Dangote Rice Mill at Runji village in kware local government to Dangote industries limited The certificate which was signed at the project site by Governor Aminu waziri Tambuwal was also presented to the president Dangote group Alh Aliko Dangote represented by the group executive Director corporate management and communications engineer Mansur Ahmed by the Governor.
Already the sum of over 10.6 million Naira has been approved for the payment of compensation to the owners of the acquired land for the project. Receiving the certificate the group executive director Engineer Mansur Ahmed said the sum of nine billion Naira would be expended on the project.
