SOSG – CTC Collaborates On Digital Skills Training
The Sokoto State Government (SOSG), in partnership with the Caliphate Tech Community (CTC) through the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Economy (MIDE), recently organized an extensive training session on Smart Phone Video Editing. This event, held on December 23, 2023, aimed to empower the youth of Sokoto State with essential digital skills, creating opportunities for self-development and sustainability in the tech industry.
Officials representing the Ministry, including Heads of Units from the ICT Directorate Sokoto, actively participated in the event. Expressing their gratitude, participants commended the State Government’s efforts, led by Governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, PhD, FCNA, and the Commissioner of Innovation and Digital Economy, Hon Bashar Umar Kwabo, for the valuable knowledge gained during the training.
Enthusiastically, the trainees eagerly anticipate applying these newfound skills in their respective fields and have voiced the need for additional sessions and workshops covering a diverse range of digital skills.
The program was attended by officials from the Ministry, members of the Caliphate Tech Community, and key players in the tech industry, marking a collaborative effort to empower Sokoto’s youth in digital education.
