TAMBUWAL CREATES ICT TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP (TWG)

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has approved the Ministry of Technology and Digital Economy (MTDE)’s recommendations for the Creation of the ICT Technical working group (TWG) at the State level under the MTDE.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary of the MTDE, Dr Nasir Daniya PhD, said the creation of the group was part of the recommendations contained in the communique that was issued after the ‘Stakeholders Engagement Forum’ that the Sokoto State Government jointly hosted with the NITDA.

The TWG is expected to provide inputs and recommendations for the implementation of contents of the communique, also serve as an avenue for future collaborations between the SOSG, NITDA and other related stakeholders in the Digital Economy sector. The members are as follows:
